A comprehensive risk management plan includes assessing and mitigating potential risks. Eos Study Tours does everything we can to help alleviate stress or problems that may result when things do not go as planned. We believe that it is better to be as prepared as possible than to start addressing problems only after they have been set in motion​.

 

• Eos Study Tours excels in fiscal management.

  • Protection of passenger funds:

    • Passenger funds are kept separately from each other.

    • Passenger deposits and final payments are placed in protected bank accounts.

    • Passenger payments are released to our tour suppliers and ship charterers at the latest date possible.

  • Eos carries zero debt.

• Your organization will receive an “added insured” certificate to Eos’ $5,000,000.00 travel insurance policy.

• All travelers are provided with medical and evacuation coverage: up to $5,000 basic medical and up to $200,000 emergency medical, political, and natural disaster evacuation.

• Eos staff is available to connect travelers with a reputable travel insurance company with which we have an excellent, long-term working relationship.

  • If travelers purchase a policy through the recommended vendor, Eos staff will guide them on how to file a claim.

  • If issues arise, Eos staff will connect travelers directly with our point of contact at the travel insurance company.

• Tour suppliers, domestic and foreign, are meticulously vetted and carefully contracted.

• Travelers’ safety is Eos’ number one priority:

  • Travelers complete medical forms stating if they have special medical problems or dietary needs, which is then vetted by our tour suppliers.

  • Travelers who carry a U.S. passport are enrolled in the U.S. Department of State’s (STEP), which registers their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

  • Recommended traveler health guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are provided for all of our programs.
